We wanted to update you on the current plans for the potential reopening of the Ilfracombe Centre now that lockdown restrictions are changing.
The Government in conjunction with the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) continue to advise us that Council Offices are to remain closed to the public.
The Ilfracombe Town Council Proper Officer remains in constant talks with both NALC and North Devon Council. The current consensus is that the Ilfracombe Centre could potentially to be open to the public in July/August.
Confirmation of this and the extent of services available remains dependant on the issuing of Government guidelines.
We will aim to keep you informed of any developments as and when they happen.
All 3 local councils are still very much open for business however, they are all busier than usual so there may be longer to wait than usual for a response:
